One Pot Healthy Alfredo Pasta
Ingredients:
2 tbsp Olive Oil
1/2 Small Onion, minced
4 Garlic Cloves, minced
1 cup Half & Half
2 cups Chicken Broth/Stock (or veggie)
1 1/2 tbsp All-Purpose Flour
1 tsp Dried Basil
1 tsp Dried Parsley
6 oz Pasta (penne preferred)
1/2 cap Shredded Parmesan Cheese
Salt and pepper
Directions:
Heat oil in a pan, add in onion and stir
Once a bit translucent, add in minced garlic and stir
Pour in half & half to deglaze the pan, stir then add broth
Add in flour and whisk until dissolved
Add in spices, uncooked pasta and stir to coat and make sure all pasta is under the liquid
Bring to a boil, turn heat to low, cover and leave on a simmer for 10ish minutes
Stir, add parm, salt and pepper and combine
