Buttered Parmesan Noodles

Butter Parmesan Noodles Using Mueller’s® Tuscan Italian

Style Flavor Infused Rotini! 

 

You don’t always need to make an elaborate sauce for your pasta, or even spoon some out of the jar. With Mueller’s® new flavor infused pasta, add some butter, olive oil, parmesan cheese and salt and you are good to go! 

This is one of my favorite pasta go-tos, especially when I’m looking for something quick and don’t have many options to choose from at the house! Check out the recipe below!

Ingredients: 

  • ½ package Mueller’s Tuscan Italian Style Flavor Infused Rotini

  • 3 tbsp Butter (I used clarified butter)

  • 2-3 tbsp Olive Oil (or oil of choice)

  • 1 tbsp Fresh Basil Leaves, minced 

  • ¼ tsp Garlic Powder (1 clove minced garlic if preferred)

  • ¼ cup Parmesan Cheese (freshly grated preferred)

  • Dash Red Pepper Flakes

  • ¼ -½ cup Pasta Water (saved in case needed)

  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions: 

  1. Boil Mueller’s Tuscan Italian Style Flavor Infused Rotini as directed on bag

  2. Save up to ½ cup pasta water and set aside

  3. Heat butter in a pan on medium heat, add in oil and red pepper flakes and combine

  4. Immediately add in the cooked pasta and mix

  5. Add garlic powder, salt, pepper, and half of the parmesan cheese, mix

  6. Pour in ¼ cup of pasta water and a few dashes of olive oil to allow for a silky texture (add more if you’d like)

  7. Turn heat to low, add the basil and the rest of the parmesan cheese, cover, and let melt for 1-2 minutes

  8. Serve immediately, top with more cheese and/or butter if preferred
