French Toast

Ingredients: (Yields: 4 Pieces)

  • 4 Egg Yolks

  • 1 Cup Milk

  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract

  • 1 tsp Cinnamon

  • 1/4 tsp Sea Salt

  • Butter or Oil for the Pan

  • 4 Slices of Bread (I used brioche for this one)

Directions:

  1. Separate your egg yolks from your egg whites (discard the egg whites or save for another use)

  2. Add in milk, vanilla, cinnamon and salt and whisk together until FULLY combined

  3. Heat up a skillet on medium heat with butter (I recommend grass fed butter or ghee). Make sure pan or flat top is evenly heated and greased up enough

  4. Dip 1 slice of bread in the mixture and softly. press down to coat, flip and press down

  5. Place onto hot surface and wait 3ish minutes before flipping, or until the bottom is golden brown

  6. Flip and set aside when both sides are done

  7. Repeat for all slices

  8. Top with butter, syrup and powdered sugar and enjoy!
