One Pot Healthy Alfredo Pasta

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1/2 Small Onion, minced
- 4 Garlic Cloves, minced
- 1 cup Half & Half
- 2 cups Chicken Broth/Stock (or veggie)
- 1 1/2 tbsp All-Purpose Flour
- 1 tsp Dried Basil
- 1 tsp Dried Parsley
- 6 oz Pasta (penne preferred)
- 1/2 cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Heat pan on medium high heat, add in oil, reduce to medium heat and add in minced onion, stir until slightly translucent
- Add in minced garlic and stir to combine oil, onion and garlic.
- Once fragrant, pour in half & half to deglaze the pan, stir then add broth
- Add in flour and whisk until dissolved
- Sprinkle in spices, the uncooked pasta and stir to coat completely and make sure all pasta is under the liquid
- Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, cover and leave on a simmer for 10ish minutes
- Stir, add parm, salt and pepper and combine
