Marsala French Onion Pasta
Marsala French Onion Pasta
Ingredients
- 8oz Pasta
- 3 tbsp Butter
- 1/2 Sweet Onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, mined
- 1/3 cup Marsala Wine
- 1 1/2 cup Beef Broth
- 1/2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 4 sprigs fresh Thyme
- 1/4 cup heavy cream (start off using a little less)
- 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese
- Salt and Pepper
Instructions
- Slice onion
- Heat pan on medium heat, add butter, let melt and then add onions, salt and pepper
- Sweat out the onions a bit then add in garlic. Once onions are translucent, deglaze pan with marsala wine and stir. Let marsala cook out for a few minutes
- Add in broth and Worcestershire sauce and stir
- Add in not cooked pasta and stir then top with fresh thyme
- Let come to a boil and once pasta is cooked, add in heavy cream and stir then top with parm cheese
