Marsala French Onion Pasta

Ingredients

  • 8oz Pasta
  • 3 tbsp Butter
  • 1/2 Sweet Onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, mined
  • 1/3 cup Marsala Wine
  • 1 1/2 cup Beef Broth
  • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 4 sprigs fresh Thyme
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream (start off using a little less)
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese
  • Salt and Pepper

Instructions

  1. Slice onion
  2. Heat pan on medium heat, add butter, let melt and then add onions, salt and pepper
  3. Sweat out the onions a bit then add in garlic. Once onions are translucent, deglaze pan with marsala wine and stir. Let marsala cook out for a few minutes
  4. Add in broth and Worcestershire sauce and stir
  5. Add in not cooked pasta and stir then top with fresh thyme
  6. Let come to a boil and once pasta is cooked, add in heavy cream and stir then top with parm cheese
