Butternut Squash Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Butternut Squash, roasted

  • Olive Oil

  • 1 tbsp Whole Garlic Cloves, peeled (4-5 cloves)

  • 1 cup Half and Half or Milk of choice

  • 1/2 tsp Sea Salt

  • 1/2 tsp Cracked Black Pepper

  • 1/8 tsp Nutmeg

  • 1/2 tsp Sage, dried

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375

  2. Cut the butternut squash into cubes (you can also buy it already cubed from the store)

  3. Sprinkle with olive oil, salt and pepper

  4. Add pealed whole garlic cloves to the pan scattered around the butternut cubes

  5. Air fry or Roast for 45 minutes or until soft and golden brown

  6. Add butternut, garlic and 1/2 cup liquid into food processor (or blender) and blend until it starts to get smooth

  7. Slowly add in the other half of the liquid while blending

  8. Add in spices and blend until smooth

  9. Optional to add more liquid to thin out
