- 1 cup cooked rice
- 2 egg yolks and white separated
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 3 green onion minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil or ghee or butter
- salt and pepper to taste
Let leftover rice come to room temperature
Add the egg yolks into the plain rice and massage with your hands until fully combined and the rice has turned yellow.
In a medium saucepan, heat the olive oil or ghee over medium heat. Add the chopped green onion and garlic, sautéing until soft and translucent—about 3 minutes.
Stir in the white of the egg and let cook.
Add rice to the pan and combine all together until heated through.
Remove the rice from heat and fluff it with a fork. Season with salt and pepper.
