Cheddar and Honey Mustard Smash Sliders

- 1 pound Grass Feed Ground Beef 80% lean for the best flavor and texture
- 1 package 12 Hawaiian Rolls (brioche or potato buns also work great)
- 1 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese can be slices, pre shredded or in block form where you will shred it yourself
- 2 tbsp Mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 3 tbsp Honey Mustard
In a small bowl, combine the raw ground beef, mayonnaise, 1/2 the cheese, Worcestershire sauce and salt
Cut your pack of rolls in half lengthwise, so the bottoms all stay together and you can remove the top
Evenly distribute the ground beef on the bottom half of the rolls and press down firmly making sure its all stuck together
Heat skillet or large griddle over greased medium-high heat until hot.
Place the buns meat side down onto the heated area and press down firmly to create the "smash burger" like texture.
Allow the meat to cook without moving it for about 2-3 minutes or until the edges are crispy and brown then remove from heat and set aside.
Top the meat with salt, shredded cheese and a generous drizzle of honey mustard then place the top bun onto the meat.
Place the buns, top side up onto medium heated pan OR in a toaster oven and let the tops of the buns crisp as well as the meat to finish cooking then remove from heat and let cool.
Cut the sliders into individual rolls. Add a dipping sauce of choice and enjoy!
