We tried out Green Chef because we noticed it had a “balanced living” option and thats right up my alley, its all organic (which is so hard to come by!) and it’s actually super affordable, comparative. The box we got, “Balanced Living” has a super flexible menu that can include meat, seafood, and vegetarian dinners. They also have Keto, Paleo, Plant Based, Meat Based, etc. Even though this is not something I am diehard about, I am slowly working towards it and they “work closely with farmers and food manufacturers who reinvest in the environment."… so awesome.
We ordered a box with 3 meals (2 people/meal)… Panko Crusted Pesto Chicken with a Caesar Kale Salad, Cherry BBQ Meatloaf with Mashed Potatoes and a Korean Steak Rice Bowl over rice. I was pleasantly surprised by the Meatloaf because I have never made it before and was a little intimated but all the ingredients were simple and it was easy… and had a tonnn of flavor.
Some special mentions is that everything is GMO free and they work closely with farmers and food manufacturers who reinvest in the environment. Overall, they “believe in sustainability and green innovation. All of Green Chef’s packaging is recyclable, reusable, or compostable, wherever possible. They also offset 100% of our carbon emissions from operations, including shipment of every single box. Shopping with Green Chef means choosing the eco-friendly option.”
