One Pan Broccoli and Turkey Sausage Creamy Pasta / by Katie Brown

Ingredients:

  • 6 oz Egg Noodles (sub Gluten Free or Chickpea pasta)

  • 1-2 tbsp grass fed butter or ghee (or can sub Avocado Oil/Olive Oil)

  • 1 can Coconut Milk (best if free from gums and stabilizers but any will work)

  • 1/2 cup Chicken/Vegetable Stock/Broth

  • 1 small sweet or white onion

  • 2 Great American Turkey Sausage (Mozzarella Broccoli Rabe Turkey Sausage) from The Fresh Market!

  • 2 tsp minced garlic (or 3-4 cloves)

  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets (or as much as desired)

  • Parmesan cheese for topping

Directions:

  1. Mince onion and garlic

  2. Heat oil or butter on medium heat, add onions and garlic (careful not to burn) until fragrant

  3. Chop sausage into 1 inch slices, add to pan and let them brown for a few minutes

  4. Add in liquid (milk and broth) and broccoli, salt and pepper (to taste)

  5. Let the liquid come to a boil, add in raw noodles, cover and reduce to low heat until most liquid is soaked up and the noodles/broccoli is cooked (10ish minutes)

  6. Top with Parm cheese and stir until incorporated

  7. Serve and Enjoy!
