Ingredients
  1. 3 pounds of Chicken Thighs (remove skin!)
  2. 1 & 1/2 Cup sliced Sweet Onions (or white onion)
  3. 1/2 - 1 tsp minced garlic
  4. 1 can/14 ounces - No Salt Added Stewed Tomatoes
  5. 1 cup No Salt Added Tomato Sauce
  6. 1/2 tsp black pepper
  7. 1/2 tsp oregano
  8. 12 tsp dried or minced basil
  9. 1 bay leaf
  10. 1/2 cup dry white wine/cooking wine (can sub for Apple Cider Vinegar, White Wine Vinegar, White Grape Juice, Ginger Ale, Water, Chicken Broth)
Instructions
  1. 1. Slice onion and put on bottom of crock pot
  2. 2. Put chicken onto of onions
  3. 3. Combine rest of ingredients in separate bowl & mix well
  4. 4. Pour over chicken in crock pot
  5. 5. Cover and cook about 6 hours on low or 3-4 hours on high
  6. 6. Remove bay leaf and then serve over rice, noodles, salad, etc. or eat by itself!
